NAFA AGE DATE CHANGE:  To make it easier for our teams, and to help limit confusion, we are changing out age cutoff date to September 1st, effective today (07/29/2024).

BRACKETS & GAME INFORMATION

  • Start times will be on the website at 3:00pm on Tuesday at Youthfastpitch.com.  Only coaches of teams may call (503) 864-HITS anytime after 3:00 pm on Tuesday to get their start times for the weekend.
  • Any team may withdraw from a tournament up until Monday at 9:00am. After that, the team is locked into the bracket & must pay the fee or is suspended until paid.
  • Any team that is verbally guaranteed after 9:00am Monday has to pay the entry fee whether they show up or not and will be suspended from all future tournament play until the entire amount is collected.
    Everyone loses when a team drops out after the brackets are tentatively drawn up and start times have been given out.
  • Coaches must confirm start times by phone or email to youthfastpitch@gmail.com
  • The Game Guarantee Policy is as follows: Each team will be provided a $75 credit for each game not played under the amount guaranteed (excluding forfeits). Teams must hand carry their roster or add-drop slips. Teams playing illegally will forfeit awards won and will be suspended by NAFA.
  • Tournaments will be bracketed with game-on-game-off format, or double header wherever possible.
  • Pools are selected based on current standings/and/or if the teams have played each other prior.
  • Four games will be guaranteed (3 on some special one day events) for most Youthfastpitch.com regular season events.
  • We will have round robin pool play on Saturday which will qualify ALL teams into a modified elimination format on Sunday (normally two games minimum) with upper and lower brackets based on the number of teams in the event and field availability.
  • Your pool play results will seed you into Sunday’s bracket​.
  • Team trophies for 1st through 3rd in upper brackets and 1st and 2nd in lower bracket (when offered).
  • Individual awards awarded to first place in the upper bracket only (13 per team).

GAME DAY:

  • Coaches should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their first game to pick up their tourney info packet and bracket and any last minute changes from the tournament director near the concession stand.
  • In case of rain, coaches must call the rainout hotline, 888-852-1115, on Friday night at 10:00pm and on Saturday and Sunday morning after 6:45am or two hours prior to your first game. It is the coach’s responsibility to call us!
  • No new inning starts after 80 minutes on Saturday for all but the championship game in upper bracket.
  • Games will be bracketed 90 minutes apart. 8:00 am will be the earliest start on Saturday (Usually 8:30am), 8:00 am or later on Sunday.
